hi everyone!
=)
it's been a week of school already and i already can't catch up with a lot of the work.... like what with all the lectures on vectors and alkenes and all that bio stuff.... lol
it's been a great week nonetheless.... got to meet up with all my old friends and all my classmates... had great laughs and changed a couple of teachers.... and even got to hang around and act like seniors to the j1s...
i don't really know about my peers but when i see the j1s, there's this sense of nostalgia and i'd tend to remininsce a bit about the good old days last year when nothing else mattered but OG... and there'd be dinners every single night and, we just couldn't be separated from each other...
now that one year has passed, i must say that my og is really not bad! we still meet up at our og meeting place every morning and we still go for dinners and gatherings once in a while....
i guess some friends just stay with you forever.
ok that's all i had to say for now... off to do my BIO homework!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
ok i'm kind of late but.. it's still the first day of 2008!
it's the time of the year where everyone's getting ready for school (or for work) and.. here are my resolutions for the new year!
- do well in exams (not just one or two.. but the string of exams that we'll be facing this year)
- get into team
- grade 5 distinction
- fall sick less often
and.. let's wish for a better year ahead! with the string of tests and exams ahead.. how much better can the year be? but.. it's always good to have more knowledge! and hopefully.. just hopefully... the world can be a better place to live in... (read the papers and you'll know what i mean)
anyway.. finally packed my room and arranged everything properly (hopefully) in preparation for 2008.. but i guess with so much stuff ahead, it will just go back to its untidy state.. with dust flying all over.. hopefully i have enough time to just keep it in its current state!
the holidays are ending within a few hours and so.. let's enjoy the last few hours! =)

@10:20 PM
hey! =)
christmas is just over but that means... school's starting soon! oh well.. not that school's not fun at all but there's the dreaded 'A's next year... lol... ok but at least that doesn't mean study every single minute that we're awake though..
anyway, this year flew past like... faster than i imagine? could still remember the days of orientation but look where we are now... end of 2007 and a new year's going to start soon... had my first major exam since... sec 1? the promotional examinations exams were hard but yet once again, it came and went... it's not easy studying for a whole year's worth of stuff when i've not been doing so since sec 1.. i've been conditioned to cram the night before tests but forget about what i studied the day after? time to change before...really suffering next year... lol..
the holidays came finally... the only one that i can call a 'holiday' for some time till end of next year... after getting a break from school work, now it's time to pick up my pens and prepare for school and for more exams next year..
anyway, so much has happened within this year so... guess i won't be really recapping what happened? i shall start this blog with... what happened this hols =)
hmmm.. the first part of my holidays was spent preparing as well as going on an overseas service learning expedition... like previous trips that i went on, i had my share of joy and laughter.. as well as different learning experiences... coming from a developed part of the world, we definitely have much to learn from others who, although may not be seen as well off as us, have much to give... even things as simple as a smile.. we've been bogged down by all the work and technological gadgets around us that seldom, we take time to relax and just to enjoy and be contented with what we have..
sometimes, we do not have to do a lot for the overseas community on such trips.. perhaps just by being there, we can bring to them happiness and contribute our small part to beautify their lives.. in return, we will always gain so much more... so for those who are still considering.. don't think any further.. just relax and go out to help those around you.. not only those in an overseas community, but even your friends around you..
thanks to those who were with me on this trip! =)
the second part of my holidays were, well actually spent training and doing all my homework... so there's actually not much to talk about..
anyway, 2008 is coming and i hope that this year will be even better! it will definitely be busier and school will definitely be tougher.. of course, i would love to achieve good results as well as excel in CCA...
hope everyone enjoys the new year and things will be better in 2008!
